Grill ‘n’ Shake Cardiff Bay // Promo Launch Leaflet

As part of the development of the branding for the Grill n Shake Restaurant, Cardiff Bay, promotional launch leaflets were designed and printed to give customers a taste of what to expect from the various menus. The artwork was themed around the website design, (by Brand Cymru) and contained artwork from the restaurant menu design.

Patti Raj Restaurant Swansea Bay // External Signage

The Patti Raj is a contemporary Indian restaurant situated within the Swansea Bay area, and is attached to the well known Patti Pavilion, which was once owned by the world famous 19th Century opera singer Dame Adelina Patti. The Pavilion, which was part of her estate at Craig-Y-Nos, was later donated to the City of Swansea.
Having been commissioned to develop the brand identity for the restaurant, these are the results of the brand being promoted through external signage.

BSK Plumbing & Heating are a new company that has formed in Cwmbran, Torfaen, and supply, service and install all things plumbing and heating related. Ubik Design was commissioned by them to develop a brand identity in readiness for launch. Along with the logo design, these business cards were also designed and printed onto 400gsm matt laminated stock.

JD Football Academy // Business Card Design

These cards were design for Jack David who owns and runs his own Football Academy in Torfaen South Wales. He commissioned Ubik Design to create a set of original, visually stimulating yet contemporary business cards that related well to his business, and was also bi-lingual in English & Welsh. The cards were created on 350gsm stock card, with matt lamination and a partial spot-uv coating to both sides.

This artwork was created for Capture Photography, located in South Wales. They wanted a contemporary, cutting edge and fashionable design for a poster / flyer to be displayed online and within printed media, to promote a ‘Ladies Day’ Event in the New Year 2012.

Grill ‘n’ Shake Restaurant Identity – Developed by Ubik Design – Graphic Design Cwmbran

Ubik Design, as part of a Brand Cymru project, is currently developing the brand identity for a new restaurant / diner located in The Red Dragon Centre, Cardiff Bay. This is an exciting project for us, due to the fact that the location is an high profile area, visited by thousands of people each week that use the cinema, bowling, restaurant & Capital FM Radio facilities.

Having experience of brand development with other restaurants, we were commissioned by Grill n Shake to develop the brand identity for this new venture. This consists of creating a logo, web hosting, development and design, design for print (menus and promotional material) along with management of the Twitter and Facebook accounts.

The restaurant is due to open in November 2011, ready for the big christmas rush! Specialities of food will be grilled meats and fish, middle east cuisine and speciality milkshakes and drinks.

A showcase of the brand development and processes will be posted to the site when the project is completed!
